How to Install D-Link DSL-200 ADSL USB Modem

DSL-200 External Plug & Play ADSL USB Modem

Insert the CD into the CD Drive "It Will Not Auto Run"

Double Click on the "Setup" File in the Root of the CD

A Welcome Message Will Appear, Click "NEXT"

From the "Select ISP" Select "Other Service Provider" then click "NEXT"

From the "Select Driver Type" Choose "ATM Driver" then Click "NEXT"

In the "Communication Settings" screen Fill the settings as below: VPI: 0 VCI: 35 Encapsulation: RFC 2364 PPPoE LLC Encapsulation Modulation: Multimode then click "NEXT"

Click “Next”

Copying Files Now

Click “Finish”

Note : You must re-check that the modem is well plugged if you receive this message

Note 2: The modem gets the electricity from the PC itself

Note : For PPP connections you simply double-click on the Modem icon and type in your network access username and password, just as if you were using a conventional analog dial-up modem.
